INTERACTIVE MP Mark Harper has put a video of his recent Afghanistan visit to the First Battalion the Rifles online.
Mr Harper made a short visit to meet soldiers serving on the front line and says he wanted to give people at home an idea of what the soldiers were doing.
He said: "I was made very welcome during my visit to Camp Tombstone. Our troops there are doing an excellent job.
I was delighted to be asked to open the new shower facilities – a bit of a surprise on a trip like this.
"Seeing the memorial to our fallen soldiers was particularly poignant as my visit was just three days after the loss of three members of the Battalion in a single attack."
