I HAVE been watching the daffodils outside my house grow and in the last few days they have started to come into bloom. I get many comments on how pretty

they are, so when I went out on Sunday morning to find most of the flowers strewn across the pavement and road I found it upsetting.

It is particularly upsetting as they were a gift from my mother who helped plant them on her last visit to see her grandchildren before she died of cancer.

Sadly this is not the first time the daffodils have been wrecked.

I hope the perpetrator got dog mess on his carpet as he definitely trod in it as he stomped on the daffodils, as there is no shortage of it on the grass outside my house.
