A LYDBROOK man is the latest person arrested on suspicion of money laundering.

The 42-year-old was arrested last Wednesday morning (September 18) as part of the ongoing Operation Apollo investigtion across the county.

The Review reported last week that 12 arrests had been made, one of a 41-year-old woman from Joys Green, after Gloucestershire Police carried out a three-day operation on 10 properties across Gloucester and the Forest of Dean.  

Officers identified money totalling approximately £700,000 leaving the UK over a period of time. The arrest brings the total arrests in connection with the investigation to 13.

The man has been bailed until December 11. The investigation continues.
