A FOOTBALL team is looking for a new manager for the forthcoming season.

Gloucestershire Northern Senior Division 1 side Newent Town are all set for a busy pre-season schedule of friendlies, and want to get someone in to the top job as soon as possible.

“We’ve had some success recently and we’ve got some great young players coming through, so this really is a very exciting opportunity for someone,” said club secretary Phil Clarke.

“The club have invested heavily in the ground and our facilities at Newent, we’ve built up an excellent squad of players and a pre-season friendly game schedule, but we currently have no manager in place.”
