One thing puzzles me – that is the staffing levels at the Co-op at this present time.
They seem to have difficulty in finding enough staff to man the checkouts at busy times. Queues are a regular occurance.
The cigarette kiosk is a nightmare. Baskets filled to capacity, bills to pay up via Paypoint, phone top-ups, scratch cards to buy, lottery tickets to buy, lottery tickets to be checked.
I suggest the Co-op invest in some comfy seating, and maybe a beverage dispending machine customers in the queue can make use of. Perhaps a wide screen TV to watch.
At least it would make a visit to the Co-op more bearable. Sort it out, Co-op!
