A BUS replacement service will operate between Severn Tunnel Junction and Bristol Temple Meads from Saturday, May 28 until Monday, May 30 to enable signalling works in the Filton area.
One bus an hour will run to and from Temple Meads calling at Filton Abbey Wood, Patchway and Severn Tunnel Junction.
There will also be two buses an hours running directly to Newport.
There will be one train an hour between London Paddington and Swansea but it will be diverted via Gloucester and will not call at Bristol Parkway.
There will be no direct service between London and Cheltenham – passengers will have to change at Swindon.
The work in the Filton area will be completed in August and more details will be issued closer to the time.
The Severn Tunnel will be completely closed between September 12 and October 21.
The signalling work is part of Network Rail’s project to electrify the railway between London and south Wales.
