I FEEL that I must point out that the idea of a bypass around Chepstow  by crossing the river Wye close to Beachley as suggested by Cllr James Bevan is not a new idea. This plan was put forward several years ago but was dropped after fierce opposition by the residents of Beachley and the surrounding area.

The idea of incorporating an energy barrage into the crossing is however a new idea. I look forward to reading his detailed costings for the plan and exactly who will be putting the money in place for such an expensive  venture.
