As many will know the management committee of the Sedbury and Beachley Village Hall Charity held a Christmas Fayre.
During the course of the day the event was well attended by residents and was supported by many helpers, both on the day and in preparing the many gifts/donations received.
Several stallholders also took part and were able to offer a wide variety of goods. All prizes and hampers were made up entirely from donations received from both individuals and businesses. Because of this generosity expenses for the day were limited to ticket printing only and some £570 was raised which will all go towards hall funds.
Though the hall is owned by Tidenham Parish Council it is operated by the charity who are responsible for running costs and such improvements as can be funded by them. Therefore to have raised such a large amount of money is invaluable to us and our thanks go out to all who attended and those who took part.
