WHY, oh why, are the council making pest control chargeable? It is madness. We will be overrun by rats. Some people either won't or can't pay for this service.
I have rats breeding in my compost heap at present and have been putting down poison for them for months, which they have not touched. We called the pest control office and proper poison was put in the right places by a very helpful officer. So far in just over a week we have found one dead rat so hopefully the rest will be caught.
Surely we don't want them everywhere with all their diseases. The service should be free for the sake of community health. – Worried, Broadwell.
