THREE pals from the Coleford/Newland area and a pet dog called Paddy are currently pacing along Hadrian's Wall to help Coleford's Poppy Appeal.

The 85-mile trek started on Friday (June 10) and is expected to finish mid-week.

"We hope to raise around £500 for this worthy cause," says one of the walkers, Paul McMahon.

"Accompanying me are Newland residents Ali Bassett, Dave Allerton and the celebrity super dog Paddy!"
