WESTON-under-Penyard Church of England Primary School fete was held on Saturday in the grounds of Penyard House in Ross-on-Wye.
Organiser Andy Jones told the Review: “It was a massive success. Hundreds of people flocked to the location to enjoy traditional stalls, a dog display from Ross-on-Wye and District Dog Club and a performance from talented local singers Alex Knapman and Andy Margrett. We raised around £2,500 for our school.
“Ross-on-Wye firefighters, West Mercia Police and St John Ambulance, Monmouth came along and provided much enjoyment and information.
“We’d really like to thank the fete sponsors and acknowledge the overwhelming support of the management and employees of Penyard House who donated their venue, time, effort and resources in order to aid the local school.”
