A 29-YEAR-OLD van driver was arrested on Saturday afternoon after running away from a crash he was involved in on the A48 at Aylburton.
The man, from Blackwood in Caerphilly, had a head-on collision with a Lydney woman driving a Kia Sorento 4x4 when he ran off at 12.26pm.
Police later arrested him and he has been reported for summons to court for driving with no insurance, driving otherwise than in accordance with his licence, driving without due care and attention, failing to stop and give details following a collision, and failing to report a collision.
Both the van driver and driver of the Kia Sorento were uninjured.
