POLICE are probing the cause of a blaze at a derelict building in Ross-on-Wye.

Fire crews attended the fire on Penyard Lane last Wednesday, January 10.

West Mercia Police also attended due to concerns over the cause of the blaze, which was being treated as suspicious.

Anyone with information is asked to call police on 101, quoting incident number 699s of 10 January.

Two crews from Ross and one from Whitchurch, plus a remote access vehicle, attended the fire which was in a 200m sq building.

The fire was extinguished by attacking it with foam, one hose reel jet and one main jet.
