IN answer to a letter printed in the Forest Review on June 11 we would like to point out that Bathurst Pool has not been run or supported by Lydney Town Council since 1999.

The pool was, between 2000 and 2012, in the hands of the charity management trustees and for the last two years the custodial trustees.

We can guarantee to our supporters and volunteers that Lydney Town Council has no financial or any other control of the Bathurst outdoor swimming pool.
