I READ your article on the day's Inquiry on the June 10 into the above turbine. I was so surprised and alarmed that I had to read your article again! From "disgruntled members of the public" to the end of the article you have misquoted the facts of the day and I am wondering if, in fact, your reporter and myself attended the same meeting!
The reporting is totally inaccurate; Mr Wadsley the barrister acting for the district council was mentioned and quoted when in fact it should have been Mr Cook, the environmental consultant employed by Mr Kear and Poolway Wind. Mr Cook was questioned for most of the day by Mr Wadsley and Mr Sinclair the advocate for the Forest Hills Alliance and Cross Winds.
This inquiry concludes in July and if you intend to report its conclusion, I would strongly recommend that two reporters attend they could then at least collaborate and get the facts correct whatever the outcome.
This appeal is costing us, the community, a great deal of money; is Mr. Kear concerned about this – is he heck.
