AFTER a family cycle ride, we spent 15 minutes watching these two families of wild boar. Initially spotted on the cycle path between Lydbrook and Speculation, we watched, amazed, as they worked their way along the track towards us, rooting in the grass.
To the delight of our children (Oliver and Lucy) the two sows and six piglets walked right past us, hardly bothered by our presence – although, to be honest, we took the precaution of standing behind a nice wire fence!
