CAN I say through your paper how I and a great many others were very surprised and disappointed to find no photo of the four very brave Broke Bike cyclists who took part in the Relay for Life.
Their efforts and training over the last few months to be able to make this possible was, believe me, quite extraordinary.
To ride more than 270 miles to London and back in 24 hours and raising £3,500 was no mean feat and should have had more coverage by your newspaper.
You seemed, by the photographs, to have covered quite a lot of what was taking place so come on Review.
Well done lads and a big thank you to all who supported them with time effort and money. – S Rudge, Lydney.
(Editor's note) Thank you for conceding that we covered quite a lot of the Relay. We devoted all our front page and much of the centre pages to reports and pictures – far more than any other paper. As far as the Broke Bike cyclists are concerned they had left for London before we arrived on Saturday and three of them were not available on Sunday although we were able to conduct an interview with one of them on the field. No other paper was there on the Sunday.
