LAST night I had a terrible dream.

I was abroad in this in this large, expensive-looking building.

A large document was put before the Prime Minister to sign which he did speedily.

I could read only a few lines but it said that the British taxpayer would have to contribute much more to the European Union coffers, we would have to accept lots more unchecked people from around the world and that all Parliament’s powers would be dissolved to the European superstate.

Another line we should be expected to import more from the Eurozone that we export.

I asked the PM how all this had come about? He said the people had voted for it.

Why would they do that I asked? He said it happened because the British people were too apathetic to care about their country, its future and freedom.

Most had never even bothered to vote on such an emotive subject and had left the choice to their ‘betters’ to decide their fate.

Here’s hoping this nightmare was just a bad dream and never comes true.
