I WAS appalled to read the report into the Planning Appeal by Poolway Wind Ltd against the decision of refusal by the Forest of Dean planning committee, in this week's Review. Was your reporter in the same meeting as the rest of us? Can she not hear properly?
She actually attributed words spoken in support of the turbine by a Mr Cook, an environmental witness commissioned by Poolway Wind, to Mr Wadsley who is the barrister acting on behalf of the Forest of Dean Council who oppose the wind turbine! How could she make such a basic reporting mistake, and totally mislead your readers? I sincerely hope and expect to see a rectification of this dreadful mistake in next week's Review.
