THERE is a reward for up to £1,000 to trace a man wanted on recall to prison who has links to the Forest.

Brett Ireson, aged 32, is said to have connections to Lydney and police are advising the public not to approach him and to call them on 101 about his whereabouts.

Mr Ireson was charged by police in 2010 for a section 18 wounding and kidnap, which happened in Dursley in February of that year. He was subsequently sentenced to prison and released in October 2015, but has since been recalled due to breaching his license conditions.

Despite extensive enquiries and a public appeal in December he still remains at large.

Crimestoppers are offering a reward of up to £1,000 for information which leads to locating Ireson. Anybody with any information can call the independent charity anonymously on 0800 555 111.
