LYDBROOK classic car enthusiast Rob Sargent and his partner Sharon have taken part in a prestige cavalcade of historic Ford vehicles at Goodwood.

Rob took his beloved Savage Mk II Cortina to the event, which marks Ford's 100th anniversary this year.

"We had two laps of the race circuit each day. We were also joined on track by the original 1966 Le-Mans winning GT40, and Jim Clark's Lotus Cortina MK1 amongst many other race-prepared cars," said Rob.

Around140,000 people attended each day. The Goodwood Revival is unique in recreating the nostalgic times between the 1940s and the 1960s, and almost everyone attends in period dress.
