A 61-YEAR-OLD man from Ross-on-Wye is in Southmead Hospital with potentially life-threatening injuries following a crash in Cheltenham.
Police are appealing for witnesses to the accident which happened on the A40 Golden Valley bypass this morning before 7.30am.
The driver of a silver Vauxhall Astra collided with the bike between the Elmbridge Court roundabout and the exit for junction 11 of the M5.
The 21-year-old man from Gloucester is uninjured.
The man’s next of kin have been informed. The carriageway reopened four hours later.
Anyone who witnessed the incident but hasn’t spoken to police should call 101 and quote incident 72 of August 26.
