MOTORISTS were caught in half a mile tailbacks during Monday evening rush hour after a car collided with a stationary vehicle in Cinderford.

Police and an ambulance attended the scene in Lower High Street, near Abbotswood Garage, after the 71-year-old man had a ‘medical episode.’

He was taken to Gloucestershire Royal Hospital for treatment. His passenger was uninjured.
