STAFF and volunteers at an animal sanctuary feared they could be stuck after its car had to be scrapped.
“Our old car was essential to daily life, as we needed it to pick up feed, medications, take small animals to the vets and do small animal rescues,” said Dean Farm Trust founder and director, Mary Frankland.
“The old car failed its MOT and we had no option but to scrap it, as it would have cost too much to get it fixed.
“Then Autocare owners Bill and Dee surprised us with this incredibly generous donation.”
Dean Farm Trust is home to more than 200 rescued animals and opens every Friday for guided visits.
