THERE were queues out of the door to see Santa at Coinros Park Nursery on Saturday.

All the proceeds raised from the Santa’s grotto will be donated to the Children’s Opportunity Centre in Coleford.

Dave Green, at the Lydney attraction, said: “Fundraising is ongoing for the Children’s Opportunity Centre after a very successful opening of Santa in his grotto.

“We received exceptional feedback and would like to remind everybody that Santa will once again be here this weekend from 10am-12pm and 1pm-4pm. No booking required.”

The nursery hopes to raise as much money as possible for the charity, which supports children from birth to seven years-old with a special need/disability and their families.

Fundraiser for the Children’s Opportunity Centre, Cath Brock said: “We would like to thank all the parents of the Children’s Opportunity Centre and the general public for the continued support to make the Christmas grotto at Coinros Lydney possible.”
