HUNDREDS of supporters turned up to cheer on their team in this year's Soccer 6 challenge. The finals, held at Lydney Sports Centre, were split into two sections, one for the small schools and one for the large schools.
In the small school section Blakeney's passing and movement along with some great saves enables them to win by one point.
The final results were: 1, Blakeney; 2, Steam Mills; 3, Tibberton; 4, Newnham.
The large schools competition was really close with the outcome being decided in the last game. The winners were: 1, Picklenash; 2, Lydney; 3, St John's Coleford; 4, St White's.
A popular feature of finals day is the interval skills competition of shooting, ball control, and dribbling. This year's individual winner was Tibberton's James Thurston.
