A 93-year-old man was taken to hospital with serious injuries following a collision between a mobility scooter and a car.
The collision between the scooter and a blue Ford Focus happened on Bathurst Park Road in Lydney at around 1.50pm on Thursday, February 14.
Initially the injuries sustained by the man on the mobility scooter were not thought to be serious.
However, further medical checks showed his injuries were more severe and he was detained in hospital for treatment.
The 73-year-old woman driving the blue Focus was uninjured.
Gloucestershire Police would like to speak to witnesses or anyone with CCTV or dashcam footage.
