LOCAL racing driver Mark Hazell is completing his preparations for rounds four and five of the MGF Cup at Silverstone on June 5.

Mark, who lives near Chepstow, will be looking to improve on his current third position in the drivers' championship and three position in the dealers' championship.

The MGF Cup is one of the highlights of the 75th anniversary celebrations of the MG marque. The competition began at Silverstone in March – when Mark finished 8th – and will return there again in July as a support race for the British Grand Prix.

Meanwhile, he will also be racing at Brands Hatch, Doninngton Park, Castle Combe, Knockhill and Croft.
