A 16-year-old boy from Coleford has been charged with offences related to an attack and sexual assault on a 19-year-old woman.

The incident happened in Gloucester Park at around 11pm last Wednesday (June 12).

The boy, who cannot be named for legal reasons, has been charged with a sexual assault, attempted rape and possessing an offensive weapon in a public place.

Anybody with any information can call 101 quoting incident 488 of June 12.

He appeared at Stroud Magistrates' Court last Friday (June 14).
