Things have changed dramatically since this photograph was taken to illustrate the site on which Brico Engineering were planning to build their new Lydney factory. It was pre 1960 and the horrific Severn Bridge disaster and shows, to the left, the edge of Lydney's Mount Pleasant and the town's golf course. The photograph was in a brochure produced by Brico and sent to us by Mr Bob Ruck, of Lydney. It's modern-day significance is, of course, because of the huge house building programme now taking place on the site.
