I WOULD like to make a complaint due to the free roaming sheep we have in Yorkley.
The first thing I did this morning was to chase the animals away from my property which I've only been in for six months as a first-time buyer. It said in your paper to make sure that your gates are closed. Well what happens when you haven't got a gate or fence around your property?
At this present time I cannot afford to pay out money to erect a fence. Another point I would like to make is on the street lamps there are signs to say 'do not let your dog foul on the public walkways' because there is a £1,000 fine.
But the sheep can walk wherever they like and mess all over my driveway. Also, tomorrow is bin day so when the sheep are down by my house and they pull open my rubbish bags, who is the person responsible to pick them up? The Biffa group will not pick up the rubbish if it is strewn around the pavements. I thought that is why we pay so much council tax. – Jo Love, Tomlin Place, Yorkley.
