PLEASE find attached our votes in your sheep poll. The reasons for our 'No' vote are as follows:

1: As animal lovers we find it distressing to see sheep/lambs disembowelled by the side of the road, after having suffered an agonising death.

2: It's not in the interest of our health to have the sheep roaming freely through our villages leaving our footpaths, recreation grounds and private property covered in excrement. We should all be aware by now that this attracts flies and flies spread disease.

Why should a handful of badgers be allowed to hold the whole Forest to ransom with this health hazard?

I feel extremely sorry for those residents that have sheep congregating regularly outside their properties. The smell must be horrendous. It is time for the sheep to be fenced in for their own safety and for our health. – Maria and Peter Taylor, Stag Hill, Yorkley.
