SHOPPERS in Chepstow were surprised to see a dinghy in full sail in the centre of the town.
The Wayfarer dinghy was set up in Beaufort Square by members of Lydney Yacht Club.
The club's vice-commodore Annabel Dance said: "Sailing isn't posh or expensive – we have members from all walks of life and it only costs £65.
"We are an unusual club in that we do a lot of cruises rather than racing although we do that too.
"You don't even need a boat – there is always someone who will take you out."
The club's new season begins on April 6 with the start of season sail.
