A REPEAT offender driver has been banned from the road for six months and handed seven points on his licence after he was caught behind the wheel of a Mercedes in Ross-on-Wye without insurance last April.

Owen Florence of Homend Crescent in Ledbury was proven guilty, and Redditch magistrates ordered him to pay £530 in fines and other court penalties.
