WE would like to say 'thank-you' to Mrs Hennessey for her very thoughtful letter. Our little dog 'Dino' was spooked by fireworks on the evening of November 5 – a large rocket landed on our driveway and he ran off.
We searched all evening and early the following morning but couldn't find him. By chance we discovered a lady had witnessed him being hit by a car which sped off. She picked him up and took him home with her. His injuries were fatal, we were devestated. However, we feel fortunate to have known what happened and been able to take him home with us.
Thank-you Rachel for your kindness that night and thank-you to everyone who tried to help Dino.
It is comforting to know that so many people tried to help him as he must of been so frightened. As fellow pet owners will understand, we have lost a special little boy. – Mr D Fryer, Bream.
