•Reader Dave Palmer of Ruspidge has sent this smashing picture of a frog parade.

"I was lucky enough to be in the right place at the right time," he writes. "This picture was taken in a little pond off the track near Spruce Ride. I gave up trying to count them. As soon as they saw me they dived for cover, so I sat behind a gorse bush and waited. One by one they popped their heads out of the water and seemed to be looking around for me. Must have been more than 50...spring is fast on its way!"
