FOREST of Dean UKIP is pleased that the British government will allow Afghan interpreters who have assisted our troops in Helmand to be allowed into this country.

However it does beg the question that if we achieved our "mission" and Afghanistan is a secure country then why do these men fear for their lives when British troops leave?

In reality we have wasted countless young lives and spent millions of pounds and achieved absolutely nothing.

Now Hague wants to arm rebels in Syria much as we did in Libya where inter tribal war still carries on. Will the Tory Government ever or never learn?
