AN Abseil Charity Challenge in aid of the Severn Area Rescue Association (SARA) is being held on Sunday September 25 at the National Diving and Activity Centre, Chepstow. 

Participants will abseil 200ft from the top of the quarry onto a floating pontoon below.

Money raised will help SARA to keep their crew trained and operationally ready 24/7, 365 days a year and to keep their lifeboats on the rivers and the mountain rescue team ready.

All fundraisers raising £120 or more will be entered into a draw, and one lucky person will win a trip out on the Severn Estuary or River Wye in a SARA lifeboat.
