FOREST of Dean Ramblers will lead a free walk of the new Beechenhurst Trail on Saturday (July 23).

Walkers should meet at the Speech House woodland car park on the B4226 at 10am for the 8-mile walk and bring a picnic lunch, drinks and stout footwear. There wil be an afternoon tea stop at Beechenhurst.

The Ramblers have recently reissued revised walk leaflets for three waymarked trails in the Forest and will lead walks of the others on August 27 (the Soudley Circles) and August 31 (the Highmeadow Trail, which celebrates its 50th anniversary this year).
