ONE of the world’s top endurance rowers will be speaking at a fundraising event for Lydney Skiff Project next month.

Paul Williams will speak about his experiences of spending weeks at sea on a small boat at Lydney Town Hall on Friday, October 7 at 7.30pm.

Proceeds from the event will go towards supporting the community-based organisation which plans to build a skiff – a boat with four rowers and a cox – for local people to use on Lydney Canal.
