BEAUTY student, Jessica Caldwell, has been chosen to compete in 'Europe's Perfect Teen' beauty pageant' to win a place in 'America's Perfect Teen' beauty pageant to be held in the US next year.

Jessica, aged 17 and from Lydney has just enroled on a beauty therapy course at Gloucestershire College, Forest of Dean Campus. She'll be competing in the European-wide teen beauty pageant at Porthcawl at the end of October.

"I will be competing against other girls around my age to win a place in America. There are four rounds in the competition which include swim wear, evening wear, fashion wear and an on-stage interview.

"Being in beauty pageants has always been a dream of mine and I am proud to have this opportunity to represent the Forest of Dean. This will be the third pageant I have been in and now I am hooked. I will never stop competing."
