POLICE are hunting a bearded man with spiky hair after an 18-year-old was assaulted outside a town library.

The teenager was taken to hospital for treatment following the incident in the car park near Chepstow Library on Manor Way at around 11.15pm on Thursday, March 5.

The teenager was with a group of men who were approached by three others when the assualt took place.

A Gwent Police spo- kesman said: “The offender is described as white, about 25 to 35 years old and around 6ft tall.

“He had short brown hair which was spiky on the top and a beard, he was wearing a red top and jeans.”
