FOUR teenagers who broke into Soudley Village Hall and made a mess of the kitchen have agreed to clean the hall and pay for the damage.
The two girls aged 15 and 16 and two boys, both aged 17, broke into the hall overnight on June 21.
The teenagers, all local, were identified by Police Community Support Officer Helen Devlin within a day of the offence and arrested for non-dwelling burglary.
They admitted the offence and agreed to the punishment.
The cost of the damage was around £100, so the youngsters were asked to pay £25 each and do unpaid cleaning on top.
PC Mark Thomas said: "There have been some issues with anti-social behaviour in Soudley recently and I hope this shows the community we are taking action."
