CLASSIC car enthusiasts will be pleased as the Rotary Club of Chepstow and district are returning with its 10th Wye classic car run.

The popular car show is a non-competitive event for classic and interesting cars, and sets off on Saturday, May 4 from Chepstow Garden Centre at

9 am. It will finish with a display of cars and prize giving at The Old Ferry in Beachley at 5pm.

Event organiser, David Eisenhofer said: "We want to give drivers a memorable and leisurely drive through our lovely countryside and provide onlookers with the spectacle of interesting cars, and to raise money for worthwhile charities supported by the Rotary Club of Chepstow & District.

"The 95-mile route has been carefully selected to keep to quieter roads like the Brecon Beacons and the Wye Valley. We are hoping for a successful turnout like previous years and of course if the sun is out then that would be a bonus."

To reserve your place the entry fee is £25.00 for each car for which you will receive full route instructions and a Monte Carlo style "Rally Plaque". At the end of the rally you will be awarded a certificate and photograph. Contact David Eisenhofer 07976 737231 for application forms.
