WENDY Corum must be quite desperate having to write to three local papers to get her views heard on the wonders of the Co-op.
We were in busines for many years and we never worried about opposition. We kept our prices down, gave a good service and kept all customers happy. Even after seven years having to give up due to ill health people still tell us how much they miss us.
The Co-op is far too expensive, and as for the divi, you pay for that in their high prices.
They also must be getting desperate. Why would they spend all that money writing to their members asking for their support? They didn't write to me, I wonder why.
You didn't see the people from Lydney kicking up a fuss when Tesco opened there, and they already had two supermarkets. I hope this will soon be settled and Tesco will open. I shall shop there, mind I might even go in the Co-op if they have something good on offer.
Sorry Miss or Mrs Wendy Corum, save your breath or your writing – you're wasting your time. – S. Trimple, Coleford. P.S. The Co-op must be very touched by your loyalty.
