May I, through your columns, express my sincere congratulations and thanks to all who were in any way responsible for the staging of the re-enactment of the English Civil War 1643 Battle of Coleford.

The obvious attention to detail by the members of The Sealed Knot, matched by their enthusiasm and dedication to their art, despite the inclement weather on Saturday, gave the citizens of Coleford a display which will certainly be talked about for some time to come.
