I wish to say a big 'thank-you' for all the help the people in Lydney gave when my 84 year-old mother fell in the High Street on Tuesday August 2.

We were enjoying a few days' holiday in this lovely area when she fell and broke a bone in her arm  and is now currently awaiting an operation on her foot in our local hospital. But she is recovering well.

Once again, thank you for all the help. It was much appreciated at a most stressful time.
