SOME 150 people competed in this year’s Mad Dog Jog event to raise £1,500 for Breast Cancer Now and Cheltenham Animal Shelter.

Organiser Briar Morris said the 13-mile event at the Speech House on Saturday was a great success.

He said: “The winner of the half marathon was Jason Pascoe with his two dogs in 1hr 13mins. The first lady home and fastest Forester was Kim Mazzucca in 1hr 18mins.

“The 6.6km fun run was won by Matthew Robinson in 21mins and 17 secs. The fastest Forester and winner of his category was Oliver Rennison, aged 14, with a time of 21 mins and 17 secs.”
