PAULINE Civil's letter showed how easy it is for a few articles to make people indignant and unhappy by giving a distorted view of events.
Yes, if you look hard enough you will find some people who have come to this country and are taking advantage somehow.
But you don't have to look hard to see that almost everyone who comes here does so with the same aims that most of us have: to work to build a better life for ourselves, our children and the country we live in.
And the Human Rights Act is there to ensure that we continue to enjoy rights that simply do not exist in so many parts of the world.
People in government are able to see the big picture, and thankfully they do not usually jump to action when pushed by newspaper articles (not in the Review of course) which aim to inflame people's emotions rather than explain what is really happening.
A suggestion for you Pauline: don't judge the world just on what you read in the Daily Mail. If you travel just a little in this country and find out what is really happening you will realise that life is much better than that!
