THIS is to remind all those people who bought their houses from the council in the last 30 years that the fight against grass cutting charges is not over.
The judge is not looking at where you live or the fact that you have not got any grass outside your house but only on the facts placed before him by Two Rivers Housing who are claiming that we owe them money under clause five in the registration document that states maintenance from time to time will be required from the householder. This has been taken out of all context by Two Rivers.
All those who have not contributed to the fight against Two Rivers, please get off your backsides and go to Lloyds Bank in Lydney and make a contribution because all the people who have worked hard on doorstep collections, unpaid, and in their own time will have been doing it for nothing.
The case goes back to court in a few days because Two Rivers won the appeal on a technicality.
This is the final showdown, so get moving. Time is of the essence here so send cheques or postal orders to Lloyds Bank in Lydney and get a receipt. If this case is lost this will be classed as a debt just like any other monies that may be owed. You will lose your credit ratings and be put on a blacklist for at least five years, so you can see there is a lot at stake.
Please put at least £10 as your contribution as this is what is needed. I thank you all once again for your help and contributions already made in a trial that was forced upon us.
